One thing I would ask, brewmax, is what kind of header you are using? The reason being, I have a few customers who run Shelbourne stripper headers and their walker machines seem to wear out crank bearings faster than those running rigid or draper headers. From what I have heard, it's due to the walkers running "dry", with little crop material passing over them. Anyone else have any feedback on this?

if you are changing blocks in the winter, or whenever, let your machine run for several hours after you are done, this will sort of "wear in" the blocks. i have seen machines where this wan't done then they get parked either outside or in a shed and over the winter the blocks swell up slightly and then they don't turn when you first engage the machine
