On which machine is the PTO shaft Walterscheid P800 ?

P800-the new king for tractor outputs up to 500 HP from GKN Walterscheid - GKN Land Systems

Or who change a P700 which breaks down and was looking for a bigger PTO shaft ?

Also, which tractor or gearbox has the 2 1/4-22 spline ?

That new 1000 series Fendt probably needs a big pto as it will probably do quite a bit of heavy PTO work.

I dread to think how heavy they are and how to actually attach them to the tractor without slipping a disc in your back

Actually, I just read, that claas xerion 5000 has an option on a 2 1/4-22 spline.

Well, I do not believe that Fendt 1050 get the power on the ground compared to a 4WD tractor, but nevertheless maybe though the PTO

But which attached PTO driven machine needs 500 or more HP ?

The road reclamation kit gets bigger and bigger, some of it is 250 min.

Claas says some forestry and construction equipment uses it. The xerion is a full horsepower PTO so it will put all 500 or whatever to the shaft

@ farmshop, do you know which machine is behind the Claas ? Are they using the P800 ?


The wood shredders driven by PTO I know, go up to 400hp.

Above that they bolted the bigger engine on the shredder.

The P700 could run up almost to 400 hp.

I do not have much experience in the construction machine, soo I don't know what is out there.

I think these machine use '' only '' an P600

Claas rep said it was mainly a forestry mulcher and a pavement grinder in use in Europe. I guess they also have some monster ball type hitch for the xerion tractors.
