Hello!

I am new here and I am an owner of MF 530 model year 1981. Now I have a question what this warning light means. In the manual there is a text, not in use in Finland ??? !! I try to send a picture of that symbol

Many thanks for answers

Oops, sending a picture is not so easy

Can you post a picture of the page in the manual? I don't know those machines at all but was kinda wondering if it's for fan/clean grain conveyor drive maybe?

Never been around masseys much but it sounds like you have a horn accompanying that warning light. Could it be the straw walker alarm tripped above the straw walkers. I remember that happening on 914 ih and 960 CCIL combines.

I've put the word out to our local Massey experts. They run various Massey combines from that era. The one guy I talked to says they don't use monitors, they just listen to their machines while they are running. I started combining in the seventies and every machine I've ever run has had shaft speed monitors, I can only imagine the disaster if something quit working and I didn't catch it early enough.

A suggestion. It might help to rename this thread something like "1981 MF 530 warning light", that might get more of the Massey experts looking at this.

Also, I don't think the picture of the manual worked, I can't see anything.

I'll let you know as soon as I hear back from them.

It's nice and dry here right now, need at least another few weeks so we get our greenfeed and hay off. Neighbors are combining peas and swathing canola right now, we will be starting soon also, the wheat still has at least a couple weeks before we start combining that.

He says it's the stone trap door under the front beater. He says you will find a switch there that sends a signal to the monitor when it is open.

Hopefully this helps, good luck.

Solved problem

Hi,
dear " Redleaf" you are right , it was Straw Walker alarm " Bourrage Multiflow" I found a wire break at the end so that was the reason for alarm and horn noice.
thanks a lot lot for all friends.
Now I can continue my harvesting

Many greetings
Erkki
