So we were looking at a "new" loader for the feed lot to take some of the load off of the other 3 that are getting close to 20k hours. So I found a 2008 544J with 2026 hours on it for $122,000 at a private seller, perfect low hours and pre emission, it'll match the other 544's we already have. But it just seemed like a such a good deal why is it still for sale.

So I called the guy and asked him a couple questions, asked for the serial#, he said he'd get it to me, asked for the serial# 4 times and he finally gave it to me. So I called a friend that works for our local Deere construction dealer, he looked up the machine and says you ready for this, and do you have something to write with.

It was sold in August of 2005 so it's not a 2008 like advertised.
At 2800 hours Deere put a transmission in the machine
At 4600 hours it got a new rear axle housing, differential, and all the internals
At 5700 hours it got a new injection pump
At 7200 it got a new dash and some other electronics replaced.
And at 35 hours it got a new hydraulic pump.

So this guy is trying to sell this loader that isn't what he says it is! And selling a machine with 9000 hours on it and its showing it only has 2026, I feel sorry for the guy who dosen't do his homework before buying this machine.
