I was browsing tractor house today and ran across a 1480 with dip & pour. The pictures show a huge clean grain elevator, so I guess that's what it is referencing. What is dip & pour and what crops do you use it in?
Dry bean country. It's gentler than augers or paddle elevators and helps prevent splits. Buyers treat splits the same as MOG and you don't get paid for em. Some guys use belt-veyors to soften the handling and a cascade type of buffer when unloading into wagons and trucks to reduce splits from beans bouncing around while unloading.
