Thanks for sharing Christian, looks like some beautiful country! Also looks like you farm like us, around and around anything and everything, never a straight line...lol. Great sunshine and tree colors that abound...awesome!

I see lots of swaths of wheat, yet the wheat looks clean of weeds and it appears to all be standing instead of lodged. Do you feel you benefit sufficiently to take the time to swath the wheat instead of strait combining? What kind of benefits make that extra time worth while and do you not lose grain from swathing that would be salvaged by straight combining it?

Yeah, that^^^. I hadn't seen wheat swathed unless it'd been a real bad year (hail, drought, etc.), and it was being salvaged as animal feed. At least in recent times.

Is that wheat or barley you left in a pile in one of your fields? What was wrong with that? Must be rotten by now?
