After its started its upright growth a good ways(the main tiller stems) we try not to run over it with a sprayer just because we have had problems with it just lodging in the spray tracks and not ever standing up. Usually if its already late enough to a certain stage we hire a plane to spray it, but we are usually putting a fungicide down for rust or pesticide for army worms or green bugs etc. with our herbicide so we arnt having to fly it several times for applications. But I'm not exactly sure how far long yours is? just ask your local neighbors around there or coop and they can help you.
Google wheat growth stages and that'll help you work out where it's up to and also make it easier for other people to help on advising when to spray. Also the local agronomist should be happy to point you in the right direction.
