What are your feeling on wheel spacers?

I am thinking of a set of 6" on each side for a 9790 Massey.

They would put the 30.5's just a tad wider than the ladder.

I thought you Gleaner guys could give me some input since they are the same final drives

don't worry about the finals, about only that goes wrong is oil leaks and don't happen often. gleaner ladders go outside the tire so no has probably tried it unless they put longer landing on, however 6 " is a long way from final not to mention 9" bolts. i am putting 4" spacers on a john deere and need 6 3/4" bolts, may worry more about breaking bolts
