Going to have a go at cutting oats tommorrow. Was wondering whether to use the wheat or barley sieve. Tending to go with barley (sorry can't remember sizes). been working really well so far hopefully be finished soon

was wondering same ? the biggest size I have is barley let me know if that is what you use I wil hopefully get to my oats friday

Haven't got into oats yet Montana. By my guessing you are 7hrs behind me so if I get a minute will post and say how I get on. Or better still you go first

Dear Montana

Job for me is a good un...

She works a treat. just harvested 160 tonnes wheat over a wheat chaffer and 75 tonnes oats over a barley 13mm or wahaever imperial 1/2" i think. Harvest over for today Rotor 850+ fan @ 1000 airjet 1/2pic follow

May have an awkward one to follow

I have used the soybean elements in my 1660 for oats. I even tried the "small corn" elements with very good results also. Fan speed at 850 RPM. Finished oats here in Minn. on 8.31.2009 have a good day. H
