I have 1500 bushels of heated flax to sell. It's slightly darker and smells different, we screened out the black chunks though. What's heated flax worth? I was offered $3/bu, not sure if that's a fair price or not

Depending on how badly the % HTD is, most of the crushers will take it in if they are doing a flax run, but you may have to wait for them to call you to deliver. In the elevator system, that is where we sent all the heated falx, but most crushers only do a couple of runs a year at best.

I also buy heated Flax although Im sure its gone by now. If you ever have that problem again I have a few homes for it.

Yeah, lots of homes for heated flax. In central/southern SK, though, Oleet will often have a leading price. Just remember they pay on something like net 30 days so you're not wondering where your cheque is.
