We run a case dc 163. Rubber rolls quick change knives. Very good machine. We cut mostly alfalfa about 450 acres 4-5 times per year and then another 100 acres or grass a couple times a year

Deere makes a good discbine. Price on a new one is just insane though. But I guess that’s nothing new when looking at green paint.

Kubota
About 8 years ago we tried the caseih and found that it was too heavy and didn't float properly. It also left a ragged stubble in the lighter hay so we went back to a sickle/reel moco. 3 years ago we switched to the Kubota disc mower. So far I can't find anything bad to say about it. The 13 foot is also very reasonably priced.
