Just started winter wheat yesterday here in central Sask. Approx 80 acs done , only 3600left to go!!! The latest start to harvest we have had since moving from Cumbria in 2000. Raining again as I type and snow forecast for tomorrow. We need miracle weather for 4weeks now to get finished.

Ditto from manitoba -- Gave up on winter wheat it is full of fuzz and ugly white . Focusing on spring wheat as colour pretty good but rain every second day not helping . Have some oats thrashed as well but 16-18% moist . Nothing thrashed dry yet this year . some crops sprouting - W wheat ,oats, canola even while standing . Have 350 done 2700 to go . Probably going after canola once it ever dries up .

240 acres of peas done. 2000 acres of wheat barley canola and faba beans left to go and 2 inches of snow on top of it all. Gonna be a mess to pick up off the ground. Will be leaving the lifters on the headers for the whole season.

30% done harvest. 1700 acres to go. Seems like we measure harvest in mere hours each week. 650 acres of canola that's in the swath and will do fine, another 500 acres of spring wheat, and some beans. Though one circle of beans is probably going to be lost. fun times. Thank goodness for crop insurance this year.

25% done. Over half the lentils and all the durum left. Snow flattened lentils and Navigator durum, but Verona still standing. Nothing is swathed but everything is sprouted. Another 2-3 days of saturated seeds followed by a good hard frost should finish things nicely.

It's scary to hear all about the snow and wet looks like we have been lucky so far in the uk so far even though we did have frosts in late August for the first time I've ever known right now people here are beginning to need some rain to help with cultivation and germination

Raining here today 70 km east of Edmonton, slow things down a bit. I would say around here it is pushing 60-75% done. Most of the cereals are off, mostly canola to go for most guys. We still have quarter of oats to go, 1000+ acres of canola, 500+ acres of fababeans, and couple hundred acres of flax...going to need the weather to smarten up a bit. The good news is up till now quality has been good and yields surprisingly high. Good luck to everyone!
