What size of header are you running or what size of swath are you picking up? We had 9860s and the standard chopper/tailboard would spread just past 30 feet kinda like 33', so it made an adequate job on a 36' header and a really good job with a 30'. Anything bigger you didn't get proper straw distribution that is optimal for zero til. We have new combines for this coming harvest and we got the powercast tailboard and 40' headers. Although the new choppers and wide tailboard in the 70 series would help but I still feel they won't spread past 36'.
