Found a cheap second hand JD GS3 2630 display and starfire 3000 receiver in USA, I farm in Australia, will it work in Australia? my dealer didnt know (and probably would tell me no).

I cant find any info as to whether they are region locked or not. Hoping someone can shed some light on this? cheers.

Good question. I have wondered the same. Have spoken with a mate who is in JD tech and said it should but couldn't guarantee it. Let us all know if it does.

2630 would fine, the receiver would just have to be transferred to your profile which could be tricky but stellar support should be able to set you straight 0011-800-0001-3373

the receiver should work just fine, you will just have to make sure you switch the frequency as you will be using different satellites in Oz
