I wouldn't bother with pulling it out personally brew, make a half-decent stencil off the left side window/door, apply of the right side to get an exact stencil to follow and then transfer to the window tint cutting the shape out, then all you have to do is get a good bottle of soapy water and a squeegee.

I'd assume pulling the window out would be a little pricey since its one of the fire window deals and the whole thing pops out and i dont believe the fire string deal is re-usable.

speaking of that dave, to controll the glare on the upper front windshield i put a pice of weather stripping on the small (glare shield) that is bellow the lights on the outter cab roof. this really helped on the glare at night. the 10 series has this, but the 50's dont. its located under the outter lights on either side. just slipped the weather strip on it and walla-------the glare is gone.

what im talking about is on the 10's theres a small lip that sticks out under the light on either side that shines almost straight down. cannt remember exaclty which ligt is is on either side but youll figure it out. anyway, this lip is there to keep glare off the windshield, but its not sufficient. just take you a piece of wether stripping that is the type that slips onto a door jam, and slip it onto the lip to make it stick further out to block the glare on the window. the 50 doesnt have this lip, so you can just get some 3M glue and glue the stripping below the light to achieve the same thing.

What type of tinting are you looking at? If the mirror-finish type, do NOT use that for full length of either side window for a combine. You simply cannot judge distance with such and even if you mark the actual ends of your header. From back inside the cab, WHICH ends?

That stuff does work very nicely on combines if only run down no more than 10" from the top. You can also do that for the front as well.
