I have 30.5-32 Firestone tires on my 1688 and I'm wondering about radial tires. I use a 8 row head and have a hopper topper on it. Would there be a big difference in muddy conditions? How about in mildly soft conditions? I'm more worried about muddy conditions. We moldboard plow all our corn stalks and after harvesting in just soft conditions you can see the ground slabbed over more in the wheel track pattern. Thanks for any comments.

I have 30.5x32 firestone radials on my 2188 and heres my opinion: they may be 10% better in mud but otherwise I don't like them. Always squishy, rolly-polly ride. Get on a little of a hillside and boy does it lean. It also feels like the hydro is working harder too. I'm running 24psi.
