Looking at trading 9610 off. Dealer has a good '07 9660 or a real nice '09 9670 that is atu ready. Would have to add steering valve to 9660. 9660 has 1800/1200 for hours, 9670 has 1400/1050 for hours. 9670 is $16k more. Is worth spending the extra to go to a 70 series?

Thats a No brainer !!!! Get the 70 series for 16 k extra!!!!!! there are many upgrades on the 70 series plus its 2 years newer less hours etc.!!
Go with the 9670, the hours are worth it, and a steering valve may cost
you $4-5K to install.
The 70 series has some nice upgrades over the 60 series also.
A better feeder house and chain, and straw chopper.

9610 has 3100 engine hours and 2100 separator. Wired for auto steer, has single point hook up and head sight controller to run 600 series platform. Have owned it since it was a year old. Been very good reliable combine.

Don't get rid of your ten, probably my favorite combine. It don't matter if it is a 50 60 70 or any of the new combines, you will lose harvest time to electronics. farm owns, 9770 9760 9750 and had a 9870. If you need to buy a rotor, buy a class 7 for resale later.
