About 3 feet
5088, 6088, 7088 are same diameter

part number: 87470153 (3 ft auger extension)
Now check the same figure for the 6088 and 7088. Same part number listed. Since the extension is part of the auger, the rest of the auger must be the same diameter for it to function correctly.
2188 uses different lengths of auger, so the part numbers are not the same.
Maybe you can cut a notch in the plastic to make it fit the smaller tube with a big hose clamp?
