Will the yield mapping program from a Case IH 7230 combine be accessible/viewable on John Deere Apex program or am I going to have to buy the IH program?

You will have more success using a desktop software that is not Brand specific. Farm works or ag leader SMS will work with both data types. Both have free trials online to try out.

CIH started out selling rebranded Agleader SMS basic. In the last year or two they switched to Trimble's Farm Works. I started with the SMS version many years ago and continue to use it today. I pay an annual fee to Agleader and get phone/email tech support and also the newest version of software. They have many tutorials on You Tube that are helpfull too.

Unless something has changed very recently, Apex will not read data from a Pro 700. To get the data into Apex, you would have to process it into some other software first, then export it as a Shapefile, then import the Shapefile into Apex.

Apex is not bad software if your fleet is all green. If you have a mixed fleet, I agree with the other posters who say that you would be better served with a more colorblind software package.
