What yields are you getting in sw sask and what do you use for fert. and weed control?

on 1000 acres last fall we averaged 22 bu/ac. we changed our fert blend this year to 27-15-7-4 . i'm not 100 % sure what we used before that. as far as weeds go we usually spread edge in late fall or early spring, then just try and hit wild oat spots after seeding.

After it was weighed I got 21 bu/acre last year and my blend was about 60lbs actual N around 23 lbs of actual P no sulphur.

This year I bumped up those numbers by about 10% and added sulphur. The crop itself is about 12" taller than last year, been flowering longer, but I've also had more rain than last year.

My yellow yielded 45 percent of canola, both had 80 actual... 23bu ac was my best average, with the odd field closer to thirty... Good moisture

Used authority for weed control, and tried muster gold with good luck as well

Good stand and easy to strait cut, but yeild is disapointing

Buzzard. Didn't the muster hurt your yellow mustard? You probably could cut back on nitrogen as yield potential is half of canola. But I guess it will be there for next year
