Hey everyone,

Over the last few weeks some yellow spots have showed up in our Soybeans. It was shortly after we sprayed them for the first time, but it is not like it is chemical damage because it is in random spots, not consistent with sprayer widths. Seems to be worse near low spots and in one field where we fed cattle most of the winter. I can post some pictures tomorrow if that would help explain a little better.

Anyone experience this before? Will they come back okay?

Iron chlorosis in soybeans is a common problem. It generally will improve, but those areas won't be the best yielding part of the field.

post the pictures and maybe we can help. Could be root rot in which case they will die or could be chlorosis in which case they won't.

Yeah I will take a few pictures tomorrow morning and post them.

The Iron Chlorosis seems likely after a quick google search. Its pretty much what they look like. Good to know they will come back a bit at least if that is the case.

Are you in the area of excessive dryness? If so you could be dealing with spider mites.

sudden death comes too mind because you said low areas, is it in circles? possible compaction since you fed cattle there.
