I checked with Ag Leader and they have a sensor kit for an M3, but it takes a PF3000 or PFadvantage and they discontinued those in September. Just like always, day late and dollar short! I'll have to scrounge up a used one or maybe try the link you gave above. Thanks!

I agree with Jason. I farm 600 acres and don't see a paying off very quick. But I like the GPS in the sprayer and at night. I work full time and do a lot in the dark. I run the GPS for acres logging to get a rough yeild guess as I go along. I use JT Precision AG. They are very knowlegble and only do GPS stuff. They might be able to answer any questions. They are out of Blencoe Iowa (712) 433-0015 .

Do you want GPS field mapping or just a plain old yield monitor? If you farm under 1000 acres then GPS will never pay for itself - too few acres to justify the cost.

I bought a used Series 5 Acu-Grain yield monitor for $150 on eBay and installed it in out 87 M3. When my dad combined wheat this year he never used it but I want to use it this year on the beans and corn. He is used to his old CII that didn't even have a fuel gauge or hour meter. Too many buttons and knobs for him I guess.

It needs to be calibrated just like all the rest so if you don't take the time to calibrate then you are wasting your time installing it.

Here is a link:
