GPS Offset Question?

We are harvesting with 2 different sized fronts a 635d on a JD, and a 45 foot Macdon on an Inter. Both machines have basic auto steer - no base station. Both machines are harvesting at roughly the same speed.

We are working up and back / inside out, so our augers always face into the middle for the chaser bin. At the moment we have to shift track to line up the swath.

For tired people, and to make life easier, is there a way to change the offsets in our steering setup so we don't have to shift track every new swath? It would be good not to have so many Dags, ( i.e. less than full swaths) after we cut blocks out.

Merry Christmas to you all, and your families.:)

We have the change offset option in Greenstar Monitor (2600?, big colour setup).

Do we add both widths and average to change offset in monitor?

I think both machines are centre mount, the JD is.

Thanks for your help.

Fortunately crop is too good to make a full run, that is why we are working inside out once a new block has been cut out. Augurs always to the outside for unloading.

we run a 35' and a 30', what we do is make a cut with the 35' then leave 6 full trips then both machines work out from there. 35x6=210, 210/30=7, both machines work out from the cut leaving the augers in the harvested section so the cart doesn't have to drive all over ****.For your 45' and 35' the 45' needs to leave 7 full trips, 45x7=315, 315/35=9. hope this helps.
