9660 Troubles

Everything runs great and normal then all of the sudden the oil pressure light and engine speed light and buzzer come on. The corner post goes away too other than speed, rpm, and header speed, they are there but they all read zero. Started saturday and did it yesterday and today. Its pretty random sometimes every couple minutes then maybe an hour or two you can go. The engine also has a mind of its own and yesterday and today it would lose power for a few seconds and then come back full power. The JD man was stumped yesterday when we had him out. It either goes away after 30 seconds or so or you have to shut the combine off and the corner post lights stay on and the three reading of zero also stay on for a minute or two and then everything goes blank and you start it up again and it's gone. What is going on? Anyone have this before? What's the fix?

Check your relay and wiring assosciated with fuse 26 i think (labelled unpowered circuit)

I could start our 9660 but nothing electrical worked i checked all earths and fixed it. A dodgy battery could also cause it

I cant think of the name of the parts off the top of my head!! It will come to me but they are white connectors. 1 is behind your buddy seat by the cab filter and the other one is beside your fuse panel screwed to the combine. If you open the door at the and look to the back left you will see it. I completly drew a blank with the name here but my combine did the exact same thing this fall. I will let you know when I think of the name of the parts.

have you JD tech check the can buss voltage. My guess is that they are way off. Have seen issues with the tailings master sensor going bad, causing the combine to do odd things.

check the main wiring harness, under the hydraulic tank, kind of tucked up behind the pumps. there is a little pigtail that likes to get into places where it shouldn't and rub. I'm pretty sure that its a 6 wire harness thats about 8 inches long. Make sure that its not rubbing and tucked out of the way.
