Need to rebuild head and was trying to decide if I should change to the calmers or just replace the rods on our old ones. Anyone running them not happy with them? They are fairly expensive and would hate to do it if it's not a significant improvement over the old. Thanks.

I am going to try the Calmer deck plats & stalk rolls. I am sure the best money spent will be the rolls. As Jeff said above the shelled kernels have a higher percentage of them make it in the head but have more shelling with rods welded to them.
