Re: Claas 980 V's Krone V12's/Quickcut direct cut

Im glad we are square, ive done enough to ruin the "special" relationship our countries have without causing an international dispute over ticket costs.

April sounded like a great idea until i realised that two inconsiderate people had invited me to weddings that month, one on the 17th and the second on the 30th, not really time between before or after, so that finished that one.

Second half of june and july would work good for me, trouble is thats quiet for the entire world! Maybe i could do some debt collection? Start off with my charm, if that doesnt work ill just kick off, if they press charges ill leave the country!! Dont think Obama would extrudite me for that would he?? All part of the modern harvesting experience!! If it makes you feel better thats the same all over the world.

On the sassy massey front i was chatting with a chap with a 4900 in ok but he wasnt really into the whole export bit, if it turns up at your place on day, you'll know why. Trust you'll be working on getting ready for the wayne county fair with yours!

I thought they wre all big german lumps of steel. I guess that one is from belgium right

You have me confused on the austrian steel though. BTW I will only be happy if that thing performs, if not it can go away and I will be content with that.

Re: Claas 980 V's Krone V12's/Quickcut direct cut

Matt, I believe that you and I are square. You might owe the California cutters some money, I settled with them. June might be a bit slow this year, I still have some account recievable problems that might limit my customer base a bit. Is that the time you are thinking about "vacationing" in the US?

Joblo, an acre of dirt sells for how much in the valley? $6-10,000 maybe? If you would start figuring out how many tons of dirt were fed to the "HAPPY COWS" in California every year, and then put a dollar figure on that dirt maybe we could come up with some sort of a Cow-carbon-green energy tax credit to help your state out. Obahma dollars will come flying in. The Delta smelts and Happy cows could both start fighting for water rights. Only in California cows are trained to eat that much dirt, so that means we should protect the cows way of life. Turn the pumps back on!!

Hayman82, Chrome rolls can come from either Scherer corrugating (www.scherercorrugating.com) 1800-883-9790, or Horning manufacturing 717-445-9317. Both make good rolls, do not know if they make rolls for NH choppers.

Austrian steel, ill give you a clue, their Krone knives are prone to cracking!

When you say if it doesnt perform it can go away are you refering to the machine or the operator??!

Re: Claas 980 V's Krone V12's/Quickcut direct cut

Ahhhh got ya. Yeah that is true. it does not help picking up extra steel out of the field either right.

I was refering to the machine. I dont think the operator should have a problem, he has survived it before. Anything is possible though.

So can you mofify the plasma table plans to handle a water jet head and tub??? Really could use one right now.

Re: Claas 980 V's Krone V12's/Quickcut direct cut

I belive that water jet is something around 65000 psi.

Krone,Krone,Krone,Krone,Krone,Krone,Krone,Krone,Krone,Krone,Krone,Krone,Krone,Krone,Krone,Krone,Krone,Krone,Krone,Kro ne,Krone,Krone,Krone,Krone,Krone,Krone,Krone,Krone,krone,Krone,Krone,Krone

I think that should get Junior warmed up on a "just chill" ed morning.

Re: Claas 980 V's Krone V12's/Quickcut direct cut

Waterjet, i think your eyes may be bigger than your belly with that one. You cant make them, you cant bodge them either, they are plain dangerous, i dont recall the pressure they run at but its outrageous, if anything went wrong it would slice your head off just like that, the worst you can get off the plasma is a bit of a willy if your daft enough to not connect the ground clamp, not have the table earthed, hold the end of the torch and stand in a puddle with bare feet whilst its cutting.

If you were serious what i would do is either buy a dynatorch/torchmate or similar or if there was a s/h dealer for that kind of gear nearby id ask them about it, you can get some surprising deals on old tracers and things which would have 90 percent of what you need.

I got my new torch dialled in the other day, was going to mail you a sample to make you jealous!

I think i should at least put the word KRONE in my post so i cant be accused of being off topic.

Re: Claas 980 V's Krone V12's/Quickcut direct cut

I was joking about the waterjet, although I am sure there are some guys on the north side of town that say they can handle that project, along with the 10 old cars parked on the front yard.

Jealous you say. Does not take much, when I am dreaming of cnc tables.

Krone, Claas, Deere, NH, in no particular order

Is it getting "CHILL" y outside??????????????????????

Re: Claas 980 V's Krone V12's/Quickcut direct cut

Heres a thought, i wreckon if you get junior working on Krones a blood pressure of 65000psi is easily achievable, all you need is a needle, piece of tube and a jet and your cutting!!

Actually i think if you could get either president obama or katrina claas to visit your shop 65000 psi blood could be tapped from nearly anyone! You may need to tap the man with the mtn dew before obama actually gets there or he would explode!

Maybe ill post some pictures in the workshop section, that would be on topic!
