Right now is about the absolute best time here to plant tillage radish. It's late enough it will make the tuber instead of trying to make seed and it's early enough it will have great growth. Mid August to September is the latest I like to see radish seeded. From a soil health standpoint planting something asap is good. When you look at both soil health and economics do a blend. You don't need to spend any more money doing a blend.
