Will it fit

Will a New Holland 94C draper header off a New Holland CR960 fit on a CaseIH 7120. Also looking at a Macdon 974. Which do you think would be the better header. Mainly harvest wheat, peas, canola and flax.
Yes it will fit. The only difference as mentioned would be if the header is equipped with HHC and auto contour.

How do I know this? Took a MacDon FD70 that was used on a Case and put it on our New Holland CR9070. (CR's, XX10, XX20, XX30 Case all use the same feeder faceplate) We had to change the potentiometer for auto header height because Case and New Holland combines require different input signals.

Personally I'm a MacDon guy. I've never harvested anything but wheat and soybeans with one, but from what I've read you will want an upper cross auger for canola and possibly peas and flax as well.

94C is a rigid header, 974 is a flex, if you need to cut low and I mean on the ground 974 hands down...
