How did they perform? Good, bad and or ugly.
Performance, fuel usage, sample/grain loss, overall capacity?? Dealers/ sales guys piss off.
Thinkin either these or deers(S680's)

Weird. Refer to comments on 680. Vase dealer suggests 60k less per machine similarity equipped. I'll believe it when they put it on paper. Fuel consumption definitely lower, love the rotor deslug, 8 less belts, better access for cleaning and adjustments. Rotor modules quick and easy to change by yourself. Like the macdon headers for responsiveness, particularly reel functions, deeres pretty slow. Knifes and guards tougher on the Deere though.

We had a 8230 on tracks this year which replaced an 8120 on tracks. We were very happy with the combine and had almost no problems. We run a 40' draper and 12/22 corn head and we had very good yields in this area and it handled both with no problems. Had very good power, sample was excellent, etc.

Fuel usuage was definitely lower however they made the fuel tank smaller so we still can't combine a long day without having to add a little in the evening. Wish they would have found a way to leave the fuel tank size alone.

DEF system worked great and we really didn't find it to be a hassle. As someone else said you can combine a lot of acres on each fill so we just left the DEF bulk tank at home and would top it off whenever we were swinging by.

Only breakdown we had was one of the cheap plastic fuel lines coming out of the engine fuel filter sprung a leak and was spraying a nice mist of fuel directly on to the big muffler!!!! Luckily we were moving to a different field and stopped at home to fuel it up and noticed it then, looked like it had just started. That could have turned out really bad.

The good thing about a case is if you are plugging the feeder house picking swathes you just speed the feeder chain up ;). Yes the air intake problem is FIXED!!!! They must of let a farmer design the rad because they hole are big enough that all the dirt goes through. My only complaint is the price. And the 3% price increase for 2013 is more like 5 to 6%

Dont forget to clean ur chopper bearing housing.... on the side where the high/low speed is... just had a fire today on our 7010...
Was running great... went to move fields... took the combine over... drove a pick up back for a.cart.... fifteen minuets later when my dad came back out, (i was roading the cart) (time give or take) the flames had taken most of the engine compartment.... she got pulled out of the way... put out, but it was still smelling funny tonight when my parents went back out there... nothing you can do...
And the worst part i read on hear that the guys say they were told they were over greasing them... but they go out because u dont grease them enough.. i told day we put it out... thats what you get for greasing something... :(
