Why yes, yes it is.

This thing also has an unload auger that wraps around the back like the new Deere does. I am curious if the operator of that machine could have somehow lived through that. Those cabs are obviously not ROPS equiped.

On a side note, in May 2004 I saw a new Deere combine that had fallen off a semi trailer somewhere in OK. I believe it was owned by some custom harvester. From what I saw of it, the buddy seat was the only piece of the cab not damaged. The plastic was still on the seats too.

Here's what happened. The guy was trying to turn back up the hill as the hopper was getting full. As he turned up hill, he ran out of hydro. He applied the brakes and tried to shift down into first. it wouldn't shift, so he tried rolling it back a little to get it in gear. His back wheels eventually went over the edge and it pulled the front axle over. The first roll was straight a** over appetite. The operator was thrown out near the top of the hill and the combine rolled by him. He ended up with a broken pelvis.

That combine was on farmphoto where a friend of mine, Mr. John Mcmanigal from The Dalles, OR, told me about it. The driver apparently took an uphill turn and the hydro stalled and the combine couldn't make it up and tottered over the edge, unhooking the header and going down. It's on a farm close to his place, if memory serves, so it is in NE Oregon.
