I ran across this company at the Louisville Farm Show. They are call CMC "The Pressure Cure Advantage" They us natural air drying instead of heat to dry corn beans or wheat. The salesman claims you can dry 25% corn. He also says these systems are big in the corn belt. Has anyone ever heard of them or have their system? I am looking to put up more bins and some sort of drying system in the very near future. Any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated

Neighbor has like a 25k bushel CMC bin. He puts beans in it, he seems to like it. My biggest problem with them is once u fill it u have to leave it untouched until its completely dried down. We can dump wet beans into our dryer bin with a nat. burner and haul the beans out the next day. If was to build a CMC it would be big enough to hold a good chunk of my crop.

They do not want you to have grain more than 20 feet deep so that you can get enough airflow. The diameter of the bin does not matter. It just costs so much more for diameter than heigth. I do like the simplicity of the system. But on the other hand being able to use heat and move the grain out right away instead of waiting 25 days is definatley faster. Has your neighbor ever had grain go out of condition because the CMC did not do its job?
