How fast can I pull a Macdon header?

100% depends on the road, I've done atleast 80 on a brand new road, and I've felt like it was going to self destruct going 30 on a bad road.
LOL, exactly like I have found it.
Macdon manual has a max speed for using transport. It’s 40-45km I think.

Really.
30 km/hr!
FD240 more stable and can average 10 to 20 over what an FD1 would.
And well over 30 when ALL recent model combines can do 41 and pull the headers.

Is the FD2 still braced off the cutter bar?
The right wheel clips up to the support for the knife from the back frame, it is not in any way similar to former setup.
Much handier and less hassle to change position as well.
I’d get you a pic but it’s laying on the ground. Not sure why I left it that way.
Oh, remember now, FD2 triple reels have a cylinder phasing issue, left it on the ground so easier to reach rod orings to monitor movement.
Left reel partially up to check.
