My engine system ECU code keeps popping up on the green star display. Does anyone have an idea as to what this code is? Is there diagnostic software available for us to purchase to trouble shoot? Does anyone have a code book as to what this code may be? I atached pics of display ECU codes. I have changed air and fuel filters. I am new to JD. This is my first JD piece of equipment.

Looking up what the code description is:
636.10 WARNING ENGINE POSITION SENSOR TIMING SIGNAL ERROR SEE YOUR SERVICING DEALER
Seems like your engine timing is buggered up for some reason so it keeps going in and out of sync.

From what I can gather, some guys have had issues with the cam sensor in line after the injector pump. Some cleaned or replaced which solved the issue for them.

Could be either the harness (you should be able to debug it by hooking it up straight to a battery and see if it resolves), or the cam sensor picking up some goofy stuff or getting an errativ signal.

I treated my fuel tank with fuel conditioner and about half way through the tank ecu code 1347.07 popped up on the screen and engine started surging. I idled back and waited a while and throttled up and its ran find the rest of the day. Is it possible the conditioner loosened something up and stuck the fuel suction valve? Is the fuel suction valve in the tank?

On my 4730, there is no rhyme or reason for that code and engine behaviour to pop up. I would change fuel filter n separator, A few times it would run fine after that, other times no improvement. last time I had 2 loads to get out before rain, so i kept running and it straightened itself out on 2nd load, and run fine now for a few days. I phoned dealer yesterday for a price for suction control valve, yikes 836.00. I think this is the solution fix though. Thx for info quadra.

Code 1347.7 is a fuel rail pressure anomaly code. It means that the pressure went outside acceptable limits, high or low. It will often occur when power demands are made IE slowing to cross a ditch then giving it full hydro. The fuel pressure relief valve (from what I've been told) gets weak more it "pops" and this is why they sometimes pop too easily (throwing the code) and need to be replaced. I had the fuel filler neck cut off of my 4830 and welded back on at a 45 and, in the process, we got some plastic in the tank. First field produced some 1347.7 codes. I flushed the fuel tank out (got a few pieces of plastic out) and changed the filters and all has been OK since (about 16,000 acres).

I treated my fuel with power service (the silver bottle). And it ran great the whole tank. I didn't treat the next tank and it stumbled and smoked and ecu code 1347.07 (fuel suction valve) popped up 5 times. I treated the next tank with power service and ran great the whole time. Not sure if it was a coincidence or if the stuff actually works

I think these guys talking about treating the fuel with a conditioner at every fill might be on to something to help the fuel suction valve problem.
