Ive been working as a welder for macdon for five years almost. Have welded all the headers, adaptors, r80, r85s, pw7, and a bunch of other parts... now ive been welding the tractor frames for awhile and we make for john deer now. i love my job and working enviroment, its pretty much state of the art with 100% benifits and good pay.... but in all these years i have never found out how much our stuff we make sells for brand new!

Can anybody give me a rough or real price on our tractors and headers?

thank you

$260000!

Are you serious nig, $260000? I don't know exactly how much up here in Manitoba but somewhere around cat's price. I think we are in the wrong business! No wonder all these countries want to set up all these trade agreements, there is obviously a lot of money to be made moving stuff around the world. I wonder who is left paying the bill? ;)

$155 for the tractor plus the rest is the front with $26k extra for an sts adaptor. Includes trailer for the front, a spiral auger on the draper big tires on rear with a UHF and towbar. Had considered importing but there was not enough time plus no support in delivery and startup . I had some pretty non commercial trades so I could not squeeze much out of them. A friend was trying to buy the one I got cash, he says he could have got it a lot cheaper cash but won't tell me by how much.

A class nine combine retails around $700k but I know cash deals are done around the $500k mark fully equipped with draper and pickup.

A container from the states is around $7k.
