A 635 Jd header will lift the back wheels of the 2388 off the ground heavy heavy built headers. My neighbor with his 2388 and 30 foot honey bee can get the back wheels in the air if hes not carefull

 

I think lankota can help with, making it all function. If you don't have 4x4 you may need to add some weight... flex headers are closer to the combine then a Draper greenacres.

 

That seems like a big head for a 2388. Hope you have a AFX rotor.

 

not really lots of guys running 35 foot heads on 2388's and like class combines

 

A 635f will be lighter than a 30ft HB. Also the weight is further out, adding leverage, with the HB

 

i believe you will need the bische adapter plate and then some stuff from lancota...you will want to put some weight in the tho...those combines like to do chinese wheelies haha

 

It's quite easy to do a chinese wheelie with a 9770 and a 635F. I've done it and I watched another operator lift the back wheels over 2 feet. As for weight, a 635F lists at 6620 lb. while a Honeybee SP36 lists at 4745 lb. without reel and adapter. Add them and you'd be close to the same weight as a 635F. The Honeybee's weight is further out, but I think if a 2388 can handle a 635F it can handle a SP36.

yep your right!! only bad thing about that is i have seen a few 21-2388 break that rear axle in half when they come back down...the wheels fold up and hit the side shields make a nice little crease...like it was ment to be there haha

 

Our CTS can lift a 635 a lot easier than our 30ft HB. My neighbour lunched his front bracing on his 2388 with a 30ft HB. Although I think the newer HB are not as far forward, running tighter to the adapter.
