Mustard is not that much different to canola.
I use 10 degree cereal rotor bars over the concave area & 28 degree spiked rotor bars over the separation area.
Reason for 10 degree bars - is to slow material down & thresh it properly, right at the front. The re-thresher on these machines is in name only!
I presume you are using OEM concaves & separation modules. There are better options but OEM's will work fine here.
RHS cover over #2 concave on the rotor cage.
Cover plate on the open section between rear of rotor discharge to just before chopper. This open grate area is for corn.
Vital that all sieves are checked for even opening from front to back & side to side ...... then calibrated as per screen instructions..
Top Sieve Rear Curtains are a must have. Keep them in for all crops.
More rotor RPM is advised than less. More RPM provides much higher centrifugal forces which greatly helps separation.
Concave - 20-24mm
Pre-sieve ..... start off about "seed size" open.
Top ..... 12-14mm
Bottom ..... 6-8mm
Fan ...... 750 -800 range
