Soooo about $200 a year to run your batteries depending what you replace them with………..

things must be really tuff in the contract harvesting world………..😉🤔

This is on a tractor but I think its the same as the CNH combines. Yes they have a battery equalizer. Ours had not completely died, like in this video, to blow the fuse but it was barely charging one battery.

Yes, I’m aware of this setup on the “Stieger/T9” …… but not exactly sure if CNH harvesters have that same system.

Both my batteries were 🤬‘ed …… so just buy new ones & keep on going.

 

Have several pieces of construction equipment that are fully 24v with two 12v batteries in series. Always seems like when the batteries fail there too it's usually just one of them that fails or is low and boosting that one battery is often enough to start the machine. No idea why.

 

Swapping batteries side to side yearly helps if you can be bothered to do it. But yes need to test batteries before replacing its often just one. I think the rh side does all 12v systems
