Hello,

I just finished assembling the PCB V2, everything looks perfect for me.
I would just have a question please, what power to deliver the 5v output of the PCB?
I would need 800mA...

thank you for your reply
the 7805 regulator has max at 1,5 A

Depends on which you have ordered, you can get 1000 mA and 1500 mA types
Ropecopes list in post 406 shows VX7805-1000

I have also Brains PCB and also Ropecop PCB ordered by JLPCB. With the BOM list from Brain it was easy to order the materials. How to do with your PCB @ropecop? Do you have a BOM list for Digikey?
I have also 3 relays and 1 socket like @crash5291, on the pcb need only one. Miss I something.

Now I can starting with solder. Its all new for me, sorry for that. But I will try to manage it. The tractor will steer

I have got a Sauer Danfoss valve on the John Deere can just connect it to the motordrive off the PCB from @BrianTee instead a 24v motor for steerwheel? Or must the PCB others?

I don't have a BOM list for Digikey, the parts are 99% the same with Brian's PCB. Feel free to put in all 0.1uF ceramic capacitors.
Inductor 10uH you can connect it with a wire and there will be no problem.
you have a list of parts attached so you can compare with your parts that you have.

Thanks RopeCop, I will try it. Do you have a picture by what you mean with Inductor 10uH connect with wire.
Brain uses 0.1uF 50V and you 0.1uF 10V is that a problem or can I use the 50 volt?

Brain were can I find your last scheme so I can figure out which resistor put where? And the cable in the list is that for to the steeringwheel motor?

Are you referring to the schematic for the PCB? Its in the eagle files on Github, but then you also need to install Eagle. I should make a board schematic in an image file and put that on github

The minimum voltage that the capacitor must have is 10V, except for the two located in front of the Voltage Regulator should be at least 25V.
That is the minimum, you can always make it stronger.
And the inductor reduces the interference.

But since there is no interference on the 7805 Voltage Regulator you can solder the wire as JUMPER.

(as in the picture is rounded red)

Hello,
I would like to modify the arduino code to replace the Switch steer by a Button Steer, as on older versions.
I find the impulse button much more convenient.
The question that I ask myself, I must also modify the components of the PCB or simply the code will suffice?
Thanks in advance.

is brians v2 pcb good to go?

It is. A few have made it no problem. But, we would like to standardize on the mma 8451 which has a different pinout then the sparkfun mma 8452Q which has a different pinout then the GY-45 MMA8452 from ebay mostly.

The 8451 from Adafruit is a medical grade 14 bit acceleromter and is superior to the 52Q and GY-45. Do you want to wait till i make the changes to the board so it accepts the 51?

Brian would this change of the MMA affect the code for agopengps or is it just that the new MMA is more accurate? Would the v2 board still be compatible in the future just not quite as good? I have v2 board but still haven't assembled anything. Got Ardusimple rtk and a toughbook in the tractor though and have been playing with it as a lightbar and like what you've made. Thanks

It's all the same code. The only diff is the 51 is 14 bit, the 52 is 12 bit. The adafruit one is available worldwide as well so those are the only 2 reasons to go with it. I use the sparkfun one mma8452Q and it works just fine. The code allows you to use any of the 3 possible mma's.

Since you already have the board, for sure just use it. Hope it works well for you!
