Why the @&#* Companies can’t over engineer drivelines, especially finals is hard to grasp

Maybe it’s something simple on TDKG’s Ideal but it’s not the point. Finals should last well beyond the life of the machine it was born on and then the second and third it goes on after the wrecker sells it
Yes that’s right, but I am sure it’s rare. But it did happen and it happens to all the manufacturers. The one good thing is the warranty. Agco warranty has to have another combine out to u writhing 48 or 72 hours. and that’s for three solid years.

My new hollands have been pretty solid this year but other years I have a bad one out of each batch it seems. There is a few things that I would suggest on the ideal but I’m sure the engineers don’t care about our thoughts in small grains. But anyways kmk got me out a 9 to use wich I’m happy.

We put the nine into canola yesterday. Put it to recommended settings and boom, 3.5 mph with .5 bushel an acre loss. it dosnt have as much power but still has lots for dryer conditions. Where u notice is whene she’s tough sluggin.

Thank you.
I’ll likely be running with a couple of 9’s next week, green straw canola.

Unless I end up helping a young nephew whose uncle (and a classmate of mine) died a couple of weeks ago.
Come to think of it that’s a Fendt too, an 8 I think.
Wherever I’m most useful.

What do u run
2021 Claas 8800TT/2021 MacDon FD240. Year seems important what with an increasing consensus of declining reliability especially with MacDon.

Funny you should ask, just now working on my annual ***** list of complains, the three Claas ones so far just zero cost electronic programming suggestions to make operating life more pleasant.

Also we did do a little remodeling of the pan to get more consistent mat on sieves. We were doing kill stalls and could see more build up in middle. A couple hours later the boys had a perfect level mat. Agco should be with us in field and we’ll pick out their flaws and we’re the type if not happy fix it or park it. just a few little tweaks here and there but hey those tweaks make bushels in the tanks. But overall like the combine just couple minor fixable things
Do you do any mods to your NH combines or leave them stock? Fun reading about fendt. Only one in the area and closest dealer is a couple hours away.
